The Representative Committee of the Correction-path Caodai Church in Tien Giang province held a meeting on November 5 to review its performance in 2018 and approve working plans for 2019 at Tan Nien Trung oratory in Go Cong district.
The event saw the participation of Archbishop Vice President of the Church’s Central Executive Committee Thái Thượng Thanh, Bishop Head of the Church’s Representative Committee in Tien Giang province Ngọc Năng Thanh and representatives from the executive board of the parishes and worshipping places of the Caodai church in the province.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Văn Khuê and representatives from local authorities.
As reported at the event, during the year, the Correction-Path Caodai sect in the province has recorded good results in religious and social activities with contributions valued at 1.9 billion VND to the church and social charities for the disadvantaged in the province worth VND 200 million.
The Caodai in Tien Giang province currently has 10 parishes and a practicing place.
