Correction-Path Caodai Church in An Giang reviews performances 2020

The Representative Committee of the Correction-Path Caodai Church in An Giang province has held a meeting for reviewing results of its affairs in 2020 and mapping out plans for 2021.  

The meeting taking place in Hoi An oratory located in Hoi An commune of the province’s Cho Moi district saw the presence of Archbishop Phượng Tân Thanh from the Standing Committee of the Correction-Path Caodai Church; Student Priests Thượng Lùng Thanh and Thượng Dư Thanh, Vice Chairmen of the representative committee of the Correction-Path Caodai Church in the province.

Guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Ethnic – Religious Affairs Lý Minh Châu, Vice Chairman of the provincial Religious Committee Lê Quang Tấn, and representatives from local authorities.

As reported at the event, in 2020, the Correction-Path Caodai Church in the province has made contributions valued at 612 million VND in total for social charities in the locality including 15 million VND for the Covid-19 prevention work and 14 million for people severely affected by floods in the Central region.

The Correction-Path Caodai Church in An Giang currently has 2,792 members belonging to four parishes of Hoi An, Binh Phuoc Xuan, Long Phu and Phu Lam, with 30 dignitaries and 86 deacons.
