The Correction-Path Caodai Church held on February 8 its annual meeting of the church’s High Council – the highest representative body.
The event taking place in the church’s Holy See located in Ben Tre province saw the participation of Cardinal Thái Mạnh Thanh, Archbishop Nguyễn Văn Lãnh and members of the Caodai church’s executive committee.
Local guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân.
The meeting reviewed results of the Caodai sect’s activities in the 94th religious year. According the meeting report, the Caodai Correction-path church in the last religious year inaugurated seven oratories.
The Caodai sect conducted free traditional health-check to over 12,000 people and acupuncture to over 4,600 patients, provided 79,000 traditional herbal medicines.
The total value of social, charitable activities undertaken by followers of the Caodai sect in the last religious year is estimated at over 5 billion VND.
