Cho Gao Protestant church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Tien Giang province’s Cho Gao district solemnly held the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its church on Oct 27.
Attending the ceremony were Pastor Chairman of the ECVN (South)’s Council of Clergy Lê Hoàng Long, Pastor Member of the ECVN (South)’s Excutive Committee Trần Thanh Dũng, Pastor Head of Representative Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Tien Giang province Trần Thiên Tứ, and about 500 Protestant pastors, evangelists and followers from 10 ECVN’s chapters in the province.
During the ceremony, Pastor Trần Thanh Dũng preached a topic with the theme “Building the house of God” to foster the unity among believers of the Church, and Pastor Trần Thanh Dũng and Pastor Lê Hoàng Long together conducted the groundbreaking ritual to pray for the church construction.
As reported, the church of Cho Gao Protestant Church will be built on an area of 3600m2 of land.
