Giong Cat Parish under My Tho Diocese in Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district solemnly held on August 18 the ground-breaking ceremony for reconstruction of its church.
The ceremony was presided over by Bishop of My Tho Diocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Khảm, and attended by Priest of Giong Cat Parish Peter Trần Trọng Khương and large numbers of Catholic clergymen, clergywomen and followers in the locality.
The new church will be built on an area of 256.7 m2, and expected to be completed in 2019.
