Dong Phu Protestant Church in Hau Giang province’s Chau Thanh district under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) solemnly held on September 15 the ground-breaking ceremony for construction of its church.
Attending the event included Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Hữu Bình, and over 500 followers inside and outside the province. Representatives of local authorities also joint the ceremony with the Protestants.
Dong Phu Protestant Church was established in 1928. The new church will be built with two floors on an area of 10,136m2 with 19,4m wide and 35m long, and at an estimated construction cost of VND 10 billions.
