This is part of the cooperation program between the VWU and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs for encouraging religious women to implement the Party's policies and the State’s law (2012-2016).

Joining the conference were Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam, Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hòa, President of the VWU, Mr. Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice-Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and 95 typical female religious dignitaries and deacons who are members of the VWU Executive Committee at all levels.

At the conference, Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Hòa, President of the VWU stated that in recent years, the local-level Unions have extensively implemented movements launched by the Central Committee VWU, consolidated their organization and personnel; conducted many training course for religious women; promoted virtues of "Self confidence – Self respect – Faithfulness- Resourcefulness”, contributing to socio-economic development and poverty reduction in the localities.

Speaking on behalf of the State and Party, Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam stressed the important role of women in general religious women in particular in the cause of construction and development of the country. 

At the conference, the VWU and Government Committee for Religious Affairs presented a certificate of merit to 98 typical religious women who are members of the VWU Executive Committee 2014 at all levels.
