Priest Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh was formally conferred as Coadjutor Bishop of Da Lat Diocese at a solemn ceremony held on May 31.
The ceremony took place at the diocese’s Pastoral Centre in Da Lat city and was presided by Bishop of Da Lat Diocese Antoine Vũ Huy Chương.
Attending the ceremony included Archbishop non-resident Special Envoy of the Vatican to Vietnam Leopoldo Girelli, Archbishop of Hue Archdiocese cum President of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam Nguyễn Chí Linh, Cardinal Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese Peter Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, representatives from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, and over 15,000 Catholic followers.
