Attending the event were priests, clergymen, clergywomen and a large number of followers in the diocese.

The oils consecrated and blessed during the mass included the oil of the sick, used in the anointing of the sick; the oil of catechumens, which is for those preparing to be baptized, and the chrism oil, which is used for baptisms, confirmations and ordinations of priests and bishops.
