According to Thach Ha district People’s Committee in Ha Tinh province, Chieu Trung temple festival marking the 574th anniversary of General Lê Khôi’s death this year will not include cultural activities for preventing Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, the festival will take place on June 22 -23 (from 2nd to the 3rd of the fifth lunar month) and its organizing board will only perform procession, offering and worshipping rituals with participation of no more than 30 people.
Chieu Trung Temple Festival is a worshipping festival dedicated to Lê Khôi (also called Chieu Trung Dai Vuong), a famous and talented General of the Lam Son insurrection leading to the establishment of the Le Dynasty.
Chieu Trung temple festival was recognized as the national intangible cultural heritage in 2017.
