The Central Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Committee for Clergy Affairs reviewed its performance in 2014 and mapped out working plans for 2015 at a conference held on Jan 20 at Quang Duc monastery, Ho Chi Minh city.
Attending the conference were Most Venerable Thích Thiện Nhơn, Acting Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, members of the VBS Executive Council’s Standing Committee and the central Committee for Clergy Affairs, and representatives of committees under the central VBS and the Committee for Clergy Affairsn in provinces and cities.

As approved during the conference, the working plans for 2015 would include further dissemination of the Regulation of the Central Committee for Clergy Affairs (2012-2017); support to the sub-committee for Nuns Affairs in provinces and cities in Buddhist activities, organization of seminar on management of monks and nuns; statistics on number of Buddhists and people who have faith in Buddhism in society (jointly conducted by the VBS and - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences)
