Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc chaired a meeting on the project for overall policy on belief and religion in Vietnam on April 23.
Attending the meeting included Minister of Home Affairs Nguyễn Thái Bình, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Dũng and members of the central Steering Committee.
The project for overall policy on belief and religion in Vietnam was designed to make the overall assessment on the understanding of belief and religion, the policy of the Party and State on belief and religion and its implementation in nearly 30 years of innovation, to forecast the development trend of belief and religion in the world and Vietnam and formulate overall policy on belief and religion in the new contexts.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc urged committee’s members to make practical efforts in order to ensure the quality and scheduled time of the project.
