The Center for Preservation of Religious Culture Heritage (CPRCH) celebrated its 5th founding anniversary at a ceremony held on December 6.
Attending the celebrating event included Director of the center Trần Khánh Dư, Vice Chairmen of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Dương Ngọc Tấn and Trần Tấn Hùng, Vice President of the Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Association Đặng Văn Bài, and large numbers of religious scholars and dignitaries of Buddhism, Caodaism, etc.
As reported at the event, since its establishment as a non-governmental organization five years ago, the CPRCH has organized many seminars and round-table conferences for introducing large numbers of religious cultural relics across the country, as well as recommending solutions for preservation of these relics. The center has also published several materials on intangible cultural relics of religions in Vietnam.
On the occasion, 31 outstanding members of the Center for Preservation of Religious Culture Heritage were awarded certificates of merit from the GCRA and the Vietnam’s Cultural Heritage Association for their contributions to the preservation of cultural heritage of religions in Vietnam in the past five years.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn praised the Center for Preservation of Religious Culture Heritage’s effort and contribution in promoting fine cultural values of religions. He also asked the Center to better raise fund and mobilize support from the Vietnam Association of Cultural Heritage, dignitaries of religion and the society for better preserving and promoting cultural traditions of religions in the country.
