Right after the Sunday service on May 22, Priest Antoine Nguyễn Văn Tuyến, Superintendent of Phu Cam Cathedral urged Catholics to fulfill their civic duties by early joining the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for 2016-2021 held on the same day.
At voting station No. 5 in Phuoc Vinh ward, Hue city, there were about 1469 voters of groups 14, 15 and 16. In the Sunday morning, a large number of people including sisters of the Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation of Hue also actively joint the voting.
Sister Bùi Thị Lành of the Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation of Hue shared that the Congregation has directed sisters to take their turn and cast their vote within the morning of the voting day.
