The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) in Southern province of Tien Giang reviewed its performance in 2016 at a meeting held on January 10.
Attending the meeting was Priest Chairman of the Catholic solidarity committee Phạm Thanh Minh, Priest Vice Chairman cum Secretary of the committee Trần Chí Thanh, and large numbers of priests and clergywomen from parishes and congregations in the locality.
Local guests at the event included Chairwoman of the provincial Committee for RElgious Affairs Bùi Thị Mai and Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Quách Trung Sơn.
The meeting discussed results of the patriotic movement and the solidarity committee’s activities in 2016, as well as outlined plans of activities for 2017. On the occasion, the provincial Catholic committee presented the Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics’ badge of honor to 30 Catholic followers in the locality.
