Catholic solidarity committee in Southwestern provinces attend annual regional meeting

The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) held on November 16 the annual meeting 2017 for reviewing activities and coordination of its chapters in Southwestern provinces in Ca Mau city.

Attending the meeting included Priest Vice President of the CSVC Peter Phan Đình Sơn and representatives of the CSVC’s chapter from Vietnam’s 11 southwestern provinces.

During the meeting, participating delegates also outlined the CSVC’s working plans in the region for the year 2018, as well as discussed concerning issues for enhancing the working efficiency of the CSVC, improving both social and religious life of Catholics, and practically implementing patriotic and social movements aimed at strengthening national security and defense and boosting socio-economic development in the country.
