The committee for solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Quang Binh province reviewed its performance 2018 and set out working plans 2019 at a meeting held on January 22.
The meeting drew the participation of members of the solidarity committee and representatives of concerning provincial departments and agencies.
As reported at the meeting, Catholic people in the province in the year 2018 made practical contributions to the social development in the locality through movements and programs launched by state authorities for new urbanization, civilized residential areas, maintenance of public order and social tolerance in Catholic parishes and communities, as well as for hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality, etc.
