Attending the event taking place in the province’s Cao Lanh city included members of the committee and representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front committee.

As reported at the meeting, followers of Catholicism in Dong Thap contributed billions of VND to social charities in the first half of the year for supporting the disadvantaged and victims of natural calamities in localities. They also proactively engaged programs and movements launched by provincial authorities for environmental protection and climate change adaptation, upholding civilized lifestyles and socio-economic development in the province.
