Quan Cao parish in Van Truong commune of Thai Binh province’s Tien Hai district currently has 600 Catholic households with 2,500 members residing mostly in Quan Cao village.
For the past years, Catholics in the parish have actively joint in social movements and programs launched by local authorities for socio-economic development in the locality.
Catholics in Quan Cao parish have donated over 3,500 m2 and contributed over one billion VND and working days for expanding rural roads from 5m to 6.5m with a length of over 2km. They also have installed 100 light poles along the roads and contributed 70 million VND for creating a playing area of 2,600m2 for local people.
