The Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics in Quang Binh province held on December 15 the 3rd annual meeting in its 2014-2019 tenure.
The meeting aimed to review patriotic emulation movements 2016 and outline its activities for the year 2017.
In 2016, patriotic emulation movements of Catholic compatriots in Quang Binh province have made practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality. Besides actively participating in the movements launched by provincial authorities, local parishioners also engaged in many social and charitable activities, contributing to stability public order and reduction of social evils.
The working program 2017 approved at the meeting focuses on key contents for promoting the work of dissemination and propaganda to raise awareness of Catholic believers, upholding patriotic emulation movements in parishes and expanding good models for effectively implementing these movements in Catholic communities, etc.
