The training of professional skills for caring patients at their families’ houses was undertaken by the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God, and attended by about 150 Catholics from 38 parishes under ten deaneries of Xuan Loc diocese and two deaneries of Tan Son Nhi and Phu Tho of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese.

The course aimed to provide basic theoretical knowledge and practical skills in both patient care and pastoral visitation.

It’s reported that Caritas Xuân Lộc was scheduled to organize more similar training in order to meet needs of patient care in the diocese in the coming time.
