Caritas of My Tho organizes medical charity for poor patients with cataract in Tien Giang

My Tho Caritas in collaboration with Medical Aid for Vietnam from the U.S. held on December 9 a charity program of free eye cataract surgeries for poor patients in Tien Giang province.
45 patients from the province with cataract have been taken to Transportation Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for receiving cataract surgeries.
The total value of the charity program was estimated at about VND 116 million and sponsored by Medical Aid for Vietnam.
As reported, this program is the first phase of a project initiated by My Tho Caritas and committed by Medical Aid for Vietnam during their joint medical charity program held on October 17-19 for over 1,400 poor patients also in Tien Giang province.
