Hiep An parish under Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Tay Ninh province’s Hoa Thanh district inaugurated its new oratory at a solemn ceremony held on August 18.
The ceremony saw the presence Ven. Thượng Tám Thanh, Chairman of the Caodai church, representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Committee for Religious Affairs, and 3,000 members of the church from Tay Ninh and neighboring provinces.
Performing ribbon-cutting ritual for inauguration of new oratory
The original oratory of Hiep An Caodai parish was built in 1959 and underwent repairs twice in its 60-year existence. As it’s seriously degraded and no longer met increasing needs of current religious practices, the Caodai parish was approved for rebuilding its oratory in 2016 according to a model design of the Tay Ninh Caodai sect.
New Hiep An oratory has basically been completed after three years of reconstruction and with the total investment of over seven billion VND.
