The management board of Phuoc Hoa parish under Verity Caodai Church in An Giang province’s Long Xuyen city held the 5th general meeting for 2020-2025 tenure on July 30.
The event taking place Phuoc Hoa oratory in Long Xuyen city saw the presence of Cardinal Quỳnh Bốn Hương, Vice Chairwoman of the Executive Council, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Lê Quang Tấn, representatives from local authorities and members of Caodai parish.
The general meeting reviewed results of five-year religious affairs of the Caodai parish and elected five members to the parish’s new management board for the 2020-2025 period with Mr. Trương Ngọc Châu reelected as the board head.
According the meeting report, Phuoc Hoa has currently 606 members. Over the past five years, they made social and charitable contributions valued at nearly 65 million VND.
