Cao Bang province holds 70th anniversary of People's Army of Vietnam, 25th anniversary of all people’s National Defense Day

In Cao Bang province, the 70th anniversary of the People's Army of Vietnam, 25th anniversary of all people’s National Defense Day, and the ceremony announcing the recognition Tran Hung Dao forest as a special national historical relic was solemnly held on December 15.
State guests at the ceremony included President Trương Tấn Sang, representatives of central authorities, military officers, late General Võ Nguyên Giáp’s family members, the families of 34 soldiers of Vietnam Propaganda and Liberation Unit.

President Trương Tấn Sang hands over breeding cows to Cao Bang poor families
State President Trương Tấn Sang launched this program in June 2014 and assigned it to the High Command of Border Guard, Viettel Corporation and related ministries and agencies and people’s committees in northern provinces. Speaking at the event, the President highly appreciated the program and Viettel Corporation’s contribution. Stressing that the border is like a national fence, he urged authorities in all level and the whole society to implement practical measures for support of the poor families living in the border area.
