The Vinh Trinh commune Hoa Hao Buddhist Management Board held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its pagoda in Vinh Thanh district on April 7.
Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Hoa Hao Buddhist Central Executive Committee, the city Committee for Religious Affairs, other religious organizations and over 1,000 followers of Hoa Hao Buddhism in the locality.

Vinh Khanh pagoda is one of seven worshipping establishments of the Hòa Hảo Buddhism in Can Tho city. The pagoda will be reconstructed with a total investment of nine billions VND on an area of 2,013.6 m2
