A delegation from Can Tho authorities met Khmer Therevada Buddhist dignitaries on their traditional Sene Dolta festival while visiting Khmer Theravada Buddhist pagodas in the province on September 14.
The delegation visited the provincial Association for Solidarity of Patriotic Buddhist Monks, the pagodas of Muni Raaangsay, Pothi Somron, Sanvor Pothinhen and Khmer Theravada Buddhism Academy.
While extending best wishes to Khmer monks and people on occasion of Sene Dolta festival 2017, the delegation expressed hope that the Khmer Buddhist dignitaries and monks will continue encouraging followers and locals to proactively join in social movements promoting the socio-economic development in the locality.
