Bishop Vũ Đình Hiệu congratulated provincial leaders on occasion of 85th anniversary of the Vietnamese Communist Party and traditional new year. He also took the chance to thank the local authorities for favorable conditions for religious activities of Catholics in the locality over the past years.

In speaking to the Catholic dignitaries, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Khắc Hưng highlighted contributions by Catholics in Bui Chu diocese to the provincial development. He expressed his hope that with guidance from Bishop Vũ Đình Hiệu and Catholic dignitaries, Catholics in the diocese would continue to actively participate in movements, abide by the policies and laws of the Party and State, contributing to the construction and development of Nam Dinh province.
