The Buddhist High School in Ho Chi Minh city held on November 20 a ceremony to honor teachers on occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
Attending the event included Most Venerable Thích Từ Thông, Principal of the Buddhist school, the school’s managers and teachers, and about 1,000 monks and nuns studying in the school.
Speaking at the event, Most Venerable Thích Từ Thông emphasized the important role of the teachers and their teachings, as well as extended congratulations to all teachers of the school.
During the event, monk Thích Thiện Tánh on behalf of the monks and nuns expressed gratitude and presented gifts to the school’s teachers.
