Linh Son pagoda located in the Go Cong Tay district’s Vinh Binh town, Tien Giang province organized on January 2 a charitable program for sending supports to disadvantaged people in the district.
During the program, Venerable Chief Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board in the district handed over 230 gift sets containing rice, noodle, and other necessities to blind people, Agent Orange victims and studious students in the district.
The program is valued at 69 million VND.
The program taking place on occasion of the Buddha's enlightenment day shined the Buddhist’s teachings of love and compassion to disadvantaged people in the locality ahead of Lunar Year 2020.
