Buddhist Pagoda in Binh Phuoc presents four houses to poor families of S’tieng ethnic group

The Buddhist pagoda located in Duc Lieu commune in Binh Phuoc province’s Bu Dang district formally presented on August 18 four charity houses to poor families of S’stieng ethnic community in the district.
The event taking place on occasion of the Buddhist Parents’ Day saw the presence of Ven. Thích Đồng Tấn, Abbot of the pagoda, and representativeness of local authorities of Bu Dang district and Phuoc Son commune.
As reported, the houses were handed over to most disadvantaged families of Mr. Điểu Mar, Mrs. Điểu Thị Bom, Mr. Điểu Brắc and Mr. Điểu Canh residing in Phuoc Son commune’s Bu Xar village. Each house completed with 60 m2 large costs VND 63 million raised by the pagoda.
In addition to the houses sponsored by the Buddhist temple, local authorities also presented some cash and daily necessities to the four families.
