A delegation led by Superior Nun Thích Nữ Chúng Liên, Head of the charity board under the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in Quang Nam province paid on August 18 visits to quarantine areas in the province.
The delegation visited Quang Nam General Hospital and the Vocational Training School and Cooperative Management Training in the province.
During the visits, the delegation presented necessities including rice, instant noodles, milk, bottled water, vegetables, etc, with the total value of 90 million VND, mostly contributed by Ngoc Phuong Buddhist monastery in Ho Chi Minh city and other monasteries under the Mendicant Buddhist sect.
