The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Board in Tien Giang province’s Go Cong Tay district formally handed charitable houses to two poor families in the locality at a ceremony held on September 21.
The charitable houses were handed over to the family of Mr. Phạm Văn Qua in the district’s Vinh Binh town and the family of Mrs. Nguyễn Thùy Linh in the district’s Thanh Nhật commune. In addition, the VBS’s Executive Board also presented household items (fans, cups...) to the two families.
The total construction cost of the two houses of VND 60 billion was contributed by Buddhist devotees and sponsors across from localities.
