Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee held on February 11 Tet Nguyen Tieu festival (first Full Moon of the New Year) in Dong Hoi city’s Dai Giac pagoda.
Attending the event included Most Venerable Chairman of Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee Thích Tánh Nhiếp, local Buddhists and representatives of Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee and Committee for Religious Affairs.
Tet Nguyen Tieu is traditionally considered as the biggest festival of the year after Tet festival in Vietnam. Tet Nguyen Tieu festival solemnly held in Dai Giac pagoda included candle procession and Buddhist rituals.
