A delegation of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in Ha Tinh province paid a visit to the provincial authorities at a reception on 14 January ahead of Lunar New Year.
The delegation led by Most Venerable Vice President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Council cum Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee Thích Bảo Nghiêm was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the provincial People Committee Đặng Quốc Vinh.
During the visiting, Most Venerable Thích Bảo Nghiêm extended New Year wishes to local authorities. He also took the chance to brief the host achievements of Buddhist affairs in the year 2016 and thank Ha Tinh province authorities for the support and favorable creations extended to the Buddhist Chapter.
While extending Tet greetings to local Buddhist dignitaries and believers, Vice Chairman Đặng Quốc Vinh praised the executive committee for its valuable contribution of to the development of the province, especially in social, charity activities in the past year.
