On April 2014, the Binh Thuan’s Department of Home Affairs (Committee for Religious Affairs) in collaboration with the Professional School for Religious Affairs under the Government Committee for Religious and the Political School held a training course on religion and State religious affairs for local officials in charge of religious affairs in Binh Thuan province.
Attending the opening ceremony were Prof. Dr. Ngô Hữu Thảo, Senior Lecturer of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Mr. Nguyễn Kiến Trạch, Deputy Director of Home Affairs, Chairman of Binh Thuan province Committee for Religious Affairs and 147 officials.
This training course aimed at providing officials in the province basic knowledge the State and Party’s guideline and policies related to religion; religions in Vietnam and the world; the State’s administration on religion, so as to improve officials’ awareness and capacity in carrying out tasks of state governance on religion.
