The Correction-Path Caodai Church’s Representative Committee in Ben Tre province reviewed its performance in the first six months of 91st religious year at a meeting held in Thien Phong oratory, Ben Tre city on May 4.
Attending the meeingt were Principal Archbishop Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Church Thượng Tấn Thanh, Acting Priest Vice Chairman of the Representative Committee Thượng Mạnh Thanh and Priest Vice-Chairwoman of the Representative Committee Hương Được, and 101 delegates from 46 parishes in the locality.
Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities also joint Caodai followers at the event.
As reported at the reviewing meeting, in the first six months 2016, the Caodai Church in Ben Tre province inaugurated two oratories and contributed nearly 350 million VND in social and charitable activities, including provision of support to the poor and victims of Agent Orange in the locality.
