Ben Tre province: Caodai Correct Path Church reviews six-month work

The Caodai Correct Path Church reviewed its performance in the first six months of 2015 at a meeting held in Thien Phong oratory, Ben Tre city on June 18.

Attending the meeting were Principal Archbishop Vice Chairmen of the provincial Standing Committee Thái Thuận Thanh and Ngọc Phụ Thanh, and about 100 dignitaries and deacons from cities and provinces.

Local guests at the event included representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The meeting reviewed results of religious affairs in the first half of 2015 and approved working plans for the second half of the year.  As reported at the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Caodai Correct Path Church guided followers to well implement religious activities in conformity with the religious charter and regulations including the organization of 700 meetings on religious tenets for followers, inauguration of four oratories, and social and charitable activities with a total value of over six billion VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Principal Archbishop Ngọc Phụ Thanh took the chance to thank local authorities for its support and assistance over the past years and urged Caodai dignitaries, deacons and followers to promote fine traditions of the Church and overcome difficulties toward the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Caodai religion to be organized by the Caodai Correct Path in Hanoi city on October, 2015.
