Ben Tre province: Caodai Correct Path Church holds annual conference

On June 23, at Ben Tre Holy See in Ben Tre city, the Caodai Correct Path Church organized the annual 90th conference of the Church’s High Council.

Attending the event were Cardinals Ngọc Nho Thanh and Thai Manh Thanh, dignitaries from the Standing Committee of the Church. Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs also attended the conference.

It’s report that during the 89^th religious year, the Caodai Correct Path Church successfully completed the Church’s plans and guided followers to well practice the religion and proactively join in charitable activities. During the year, nearly 70,000 followers have attended classes on religious tenets; there have been 1,025 new converts; charity activities have been conducted with the total of over seven billion VND.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hồng Quân highly praised contributions made by the Church over the past year and urged the Church to further promote unity and guide followers to make practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the country according to the motto “Glorious country, Enlightened religion”
