Bao Ha temple festival 2022 in Bao Ha commune of Lao Cai province’s Ha, Bao Yen district will be held with many activities from August 5-14 (the 8th to 17th of the eighth lunar month) at Bao Ha temple national historical-cultural relic site.

As planned, Bao Ha temple festival 2022 includes a chain of activities such as a palanquin procession, the festival’s opening ceremony, an incense offering ceremony; art performances, trade fairs, a cinnamon festival, seminars for connecting and developing spiritual tourist relics in Bao Yen district, a prayer and releasing lanterns for peace, the inauguration of Saint Hoàng Bảy’s tomb, sports competitions and folk games etc.
Bao Ha temple is not only a famous historical and cultural relic site in the country, but it is also a spiritual tourist destination attracting large numbers of tourists and locals. The temple was ranked as a national historical-cultural relic site in November 1997, and has been recognized as a tourist destination by Lao Cai provincial People's Committee since March, 2022.
