Baha’i religious community holds 15th national congress

The Vietnam Baha'i Religious Community convened its 15th national congress (2022 - 2023) on April 23-24 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Guests at the event included Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Hoài Bắc, representatives of concerning local agencies, and members of the Asian Advisory Board of the Baha'i religious community.

The two-day congress elected the nine-member spiritual council and mapped out the working program for 2022-2023 term.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Vũ Hoài Bắc congratulated the Baha'i religious community in Vietnam on successfully implementing its working plan set out in the 2021-2022 term. He also expressed hope that the spiritual council of Vietnam Baha’i community for the 15th term would continue promoting their leading role in guiding social and religious activities of the Baha’i community in Vietnam.
