On April 21, 2014, at Dai Quang pagoda, the Bac Ninh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs, in coordination with local authorities and Venerable Thích Tâm Đức – Abbot of Dai Quang pagoda, held a workshop for dissemination of state policies and laws on religion for Buddhists in the locality.
At the workshop, leaders of the provincial Committee for religious Affairs introduced Party’s viewpoints, guidelines and the renovated policy on state religious affairs to more than 200 Buddhists. New contents of the Government Decree N0 92/2012/NĐ-CP as compared with the Decree 22/2005/NĐ-CP and the accountability of concerned competent authorities in the implementation of the Government Decree N0 92/2012/NĐ-CP were also raised and discussed in workshop.
The workshop organization aimed at bringing the Party and State’ policies and laws on religion into practice, contributing to the great national unity and a “better secular and religious life”.
