On April 3 2014, the ordination and consecration ceremony for 13 deacons held solemnly at Bac Ninh cathedral (Bac Ninh province)
Attending the ceremony were Bishop Hoàng Văn Đạt, Bishop Nguyễn Hữu Long - the auxiliary bishop of Hung Hoa diocese, Bishop Chu Van Minh – the auxiliary bishop of Hanoi Archdiocese, over 200 priests and 2,000 Catholic followers inside and outside the locality.
Amongst 13 new priests ordained in this ceremony, there are 6 secular priests of Bac Ninh diocese and 7 religious priests. Currently, the priests of Bac Ninh diocese have increased to 84 people.
