As many as 400 lay Buddhists have gathered in Trinh pagoda located in Quang Ninh province’s Uong Bi city for attending a Buddhist course held from May 30-31.
The two-day Buddhist course featured the Buddhist meditation, Buddhist chanting, and Dharma talks presented by Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Executive Committee in Bac Kan province Thích Vân Phong and Venerable Chairman of the VBS’s Information and Communication Board in Quang Ninh Thích Khai Từ.
This is the first Buddhist course for lay people held in Trinh pagoda since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
