A solemn ceremony for the ordainment of 22 new deacons from Hue Archdiocese was held on May 22 in Phu Cam Cathedral.
The ordainment ceremony was presided by Archbishop President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh, and joint by large numbers of priests, relatives of new deacons and Catholic followers from Thanh Hoa and other dioceses.
During the ceremony, Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh performed ordainment rituals and gave his blessings to the new deacons.
