Ve pagoda is located in Dong Hai ward of Hai An district about 10km from centre of Hai phong city.
Also called Hoa Linh pagoda, it’s history has been associated with the glorious events in the Vietnam’s history against foreign aggression such as the great Bach Dang victories in 938 under General Ngô Quyền and during 1287 – 1288 under Tran dynasty.
