The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in provinces and cities throughout the country has organized distinctive and colorful activities to mark the Buddha’s Birthday Festival (known as Vesak Day) 2024 (B.E. 2568). The event is an opportunity for Buddhist monks, nuns and lay followers to show their gratitude and respect by practicing the Buddha’s teachings, upholding mindfulness and responsibility, and spreading love for fostering peace and happiness in the world.
