The Health Department in Tien Giang province in collaboration with the Committee for Religious Affairs in the province on August 13 implemented a Covid-19 vaccination program for religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.
Receiving the Covid-19 vaccination during the program included 85 religious dignitaries and deacons currently working and studying in the province’s My Tho city from the Chon Ly (Verity) Caodai Church, the Vietnam Binh Duc Caodai Church, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, My Tho Diocese, the Sisters of Saint Paul of Chartres, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, the Thien Tien (Ante-Creation) Caodai Church and the Vietnam Pure-Land Buddhist Association.
Religious dignitaries and deacons in other districts of the province will receive Covid-19 vaccination where they have registered for their religious activities.
