Linh Son pagoda in Da Lat

 Linh Son Pagoda is located on top of a small hill at 120 Nguyễn Văn Trỗi Street, in Ward 2, approximately 700m northwest of the centre of Da Lat city.

The temple was built in 1938 on an area of 4 ha. Currently, the office of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Chapter in Lam Dong province is based at the temple.

Entering the temple, a visitor is confronted by rows of pine trees. The Avalokiteshvara statue stands on a lotus is seated at the front of the courtyard. On the right hand side, there is a three stories tower with a total of 4m in height.

On the left, the area is adorned by pond and bonsai. The main worshipping hall is guarded by two statues of dragons, which represent the protection of the dharma.

The temple is built with a classical Asian architecture, and is of a simple and harmonious layout.

In the centre of the main ceremonial hall, there is a statue of Gautama Buddha, made of bronze, seated on a lotus. The statue was cast in 1952 with 1250 kg in weight.

Linh Son Pagoda is a famous place in Da Lat. Every year, the temple welcomes a large numbers of visitors and Buddhists to come for Buddhist worship and sightseeing.
