Thousands of people gathered in the Huyen Tran Culture Center located in Hue city on February 13 for the opening ceremony of the Huyen Tran Temple festival 2019.
The festival, themed "Respect to predecessors", commemorates and pays tribute to Princess Huyền Trân (1287-1340) – the only daughter of King Trần Nhân Tông
Princess Huyền Tran was married to Champa King as part of a compromise made by her father, King Trần Nhân Tông to take back the land of Chau O – Ly region,
